Well, they just showed the last new episode of sealab 2021.
Ever.
Although the later episodes aren't as funny as some of the earlier ones, it is sorta sad to see it go. The tribute to Goz at the end was a nice touch, though.
Just to add insult to injury, they showed a new episode of Tom Goes to the Mayor right before. They can keep TGTM on the air and even order more craptacular episodes, but Sealab gets the axe?

Thoughts?

I too would have rather preferred Sealab over TGTM...!!!
 
The recent one where the Aquarians sucked the water away from Sealab was pretty good. Otherwise, yeah, I agree it wasn't what it used to be.
 
I loved Sealab. Tom Goes to the Mayor is absolute crap. It isn't funny, and with the damn cynical, nihilistic non-animation, it's not even fun to look at.
 
It's...it's like a koala crapped a rainbow in my brain!

I loved the first ~15 episodes... and have them on DVD. I think they just ran out of ideas.

was that really the last ep of sealab? I thought they were just joking like a few seasons ago they were showing commercials saying the last ep of ATHF...
 
I just hope Robot Chicken keeps up the good work, but I can see that show running out of ideas, too.

yes and a whole new season of ATHF comming in the fall

CN also picked up some more anime which im sure they will toss in with new the new eps of inuyasha

CN Is gonna start showing Naruto, however noone knows if itll appear in Adult swim or earlier in the day

Plus New Family Guy in May, not on CN, but hopefully they will play more ep on Adult Swim
Robot Chicken Rocks, hopefully they will keep it around.
I don't mind the Venture Bros, does anybody know if they are making new ep of that?
Also, how much truth is there to the Naruto on CN...cuz that would be tight.

It seemed real. The tribute to Goz sort of clinched the realism factor for me. Also, they pulled some pretty risque stuff last night. The Shocker?!?! The cracks about black women?!?!? Sealab is usually pushing the envelope, but wow! I guess I should look for confirmation, but meh.

The thing with ATHF didn't seem real at the time. This did. AS was praising 70/30 and the show in general. If they were jacking with the viewers, I don't think they would have been so sincere. But, this is just my opinion.
