After doing seti off and on for over 5 years I'm leaving it again so if anyone can point me to a faq on FaD so I can optimize my production I would be most greatful 🙂.

I currently have

xp 2700 @ 2300mhz(does 2500 but needs a better HS)
p4 1.8 ghz
cel 566 @ 875
xp 1700 (for a little while anyway)
dual cel 366 @ 550
might assimilate my sisters p4 2.4ghz desktop, p4 2.8ghz laptop and moms duron 900 😉

What kind of #'s should I be getting from these old boxes?
 
There really isn't much optimizing to do... just hide everthing so you don't have pretty graphics showing the molecule rotating and changing, and that's about it! Welcome aboard! :beer:
 
Your XP @ 2300 should get a CPU rating around 210 or so.

I too came from the SETI TeAm, lol. Treat the client in same fashion as you would SETI Driver. Right clicking on the sys tray icon gives you a lot of options. Be sure to set the Think graphics to "hidden" in the options and the OS screen saver to "blank". I also set video to turn off after 1 hour. Definately right click>setup>general>team number enter 2039. 😀 Under internet connection plan select "when online" for immediate transmitting of work.

I guess Wulf got smacked a lot with that fish ... perhaps until the tail disconnected from the remain(der)s ... of the fish ... 🙂 What an odiforous experience that must have been for us to still detect it at this distance.
