Ya and tons of people are horrible with electronics what is your point?

if my 10 year old brother can pick my phone and use it in 5 mins and learn all the gestures whats your excuse?

Its a brand new OS and you have to learn how to use it what else is new.

I'm sorry but nobody is asking them to write .net code.

Its a phone you swipe in those 4 directions and that is it.

If you cannot learn that after a few days you shouldn't have a smartphone to begin with period.

And the first thing the phone does when you turn it on is show you videos of how the gestures work.

Those videos of people not knowing how to turn it on or use it are bullshit. The phone turns on the same way an Android or iOS phone turns on. Then it tells you how to use it. How hard is it? Someone would have to suffer from mental retardation to not be able to figure it out.

Unless Q2 somehow turns out to be incredibly well for sales, BlackBerry is done. They don't have the luxury Microsoft does; they simply can't afford to throw money at the platform until it succeeds.

With the Lumia 520/521 recently launching, I expect Windows Phone to increase its distance from BlackBerry. These phones are incredibly appealing because of the $150 price tag, and no other device (without sacrificing significant amounts of power and support) falls into that price range. If emerging markets respond well the 520, I wouldn't be surprised to see WP8 jumping above 5% soon.

To clarify, this isn't a knock at BB10 or BlackBerry. Simply a statement of fact: they don't have endless money to throw at the platform.

Why do you think BBRY is not doing well financailly?

Apples advertising budget today is about $500 million a year. BBRY said they have something like $1.2 budgeted for advertising over the first 12 months of BB10s life. BBRY has $2.6 billion in cash/equivalents.

BBRY has a good hold in emerging markets. And they intend to keep it. That's why the Q5 is coming.

I'm expecting BBRY to be FCF positive next quarter.

Looks like there is a new majority stake holder in bbry. Nasdaq.com has an 8% shareholder listed but it is not known who it is. Looks like they are hiding who it is. Presumably due to accumulation??

It's apparently a firm in Spain. Institutional ownership now over 70%. Was about 60% not to long ago.

30%+ shorted.

A good earnings report at the end of the month could make for an epic short squeeze.
