http://www.anandtech.com/show/3744/...terogeneous-gpu-physx-its-a-bug-not-a-feature

There is only so much I would take from a company as a customer... This sort of behavior is high up on the list of things I wouldn't put up with. Time to switch from the green to the red team

Also, if I was a game developer, this would have convinced me to NOT use physX...

EDIT: Now that I had a few minutes to calm down, I think I would wait until I find a game that requires more then my current card can handle... but my next card is an ATI unless something drastic happens.

Locking due to repost.

I think devs care more about the money they would directly or indirectly get from nV. As it stands, nV has the most marketshare and so are definitely important...only if nV's marketshare shrinks into oblivion would devs not care about tech they put out.

OKay sorry, but I just bought an ati card and I disagree with you. Nvidia has the right to do whatever makes them the most money. It is called competition. Developers don't have to use the stuff. Blame the developers for implementing it, but don't blame nvidia for selling it. Or blame ATI for not developing a program as good as TWIMTBP because that program is flippin awesome.

sure it has the right to do it, and I have the right to become seething mad at them doing it and break up with them... Its called a relationship, you might have the legal or even moral "right" to do something but if you do it, well, so long.
