In NorCal... Folks get dummy, retarded, and ride the yellow bus to the sideshow getting hyphy off some yurple; scrapin' and hollerin' at some rippers, yadadamean!?
Most of you probably have no clue what the hell I just said, but hey... it's NorCal slang.

I just used urbandictionary on 5 of those words.

I currently live in Westwood (UCLA), and I've lived in Santa Monica. I was born in San Francisco, worked there, and grew up in Marin County.

No one is more qualified on this topic than me.

So what's your opinion?

[edit] And just fyi, Marin is the southernmost part of NorCal and doesn't bear much resemblance to the rest of it.

I looked em up too...most of that seems to have originated in oakland/bay area. To me that isn't norcal.

"Hella" though definitely is. Norcal to me is north of Sac - Redding, and etc.

Having lived in SF since I was born until I went to school down in SoCal.. I prefer SoCal.. but maybe cause I haven't really experienced much in SF/surrounding area like I have SoCal.

i live in hayward and heard of all of those words.

I lived in Sacramento for 9 years, Amador County (between Sacramento and Tahoe) for 9 years, and San Diego for 4 years. While I love it all, I must say that I sorta miss nor cal. I miss having seasons, plus socal is too damn busy and people are too damn fake. So cal people try to make the claim that women are hotter, but they are just more annoying and fake. So cal is all about the tinsel
