goodbye Kyro II

I will be sending my Hercules Prophet 4500 back for a refund. Like I said in my review of the card, I play racing games and initially I thought the FPS was enough at 57 FPS but after racing a bunch tonite, the Kyro stutters just enough to affect my driving. This is with no AA, just plain vanilla settings in 1024x768x16.

My Geforce1 would never stutter, not ever, and that means I must say goodbye to the Kyro II.

I much as I hated to do it, I just placed an order for a Hercules Prophet III, ugh. I could have bought the VTech and saved about $50 but I thought the "blue" was worth the extra $50

congratulations on your persistence with a card released 8 days ago. you were only saying how great the KyroII would be the other day.

Thank you. I've got enough computer problems, that unfixable 686B southbridge that won't let my Zip drive work right, and the last thing I need is a video card that slows down my Winston Cup car LOL.

What's another $450 on this darn computer of mine. I work and can afford the toys I want, when I want them, so what the heck, I deserve it.

yeah, but you're buying another new released card. loving PCs is pain, don't you know that yet?
you got another 29 days to find solutions for your Kyro II.

I am glad with my new kyro 2...

but with my 35 games I found another kyro bug or game bug...

collin mcrae is smooth ... but when the sun appears... (it slows down terrible) and no lens flare...
I emailed to the powervr guys so all be corrected soon...
all the rest of my games are ok... with good performance with duron 800

If I were like you I would send my tnt-1 creative back ( I think it was 1997/1998? ) because I loved to play unreal and tnt-1 was not able to perform in there like even 3dfx voodoo1 or even powervr pcx2 ...

Such as what racing games?

For instance, its acknowledged that a bug has been found in NFS-PU which PowerVR are fixing via the drivers - the next driver release is supposed to have a significant speed increase in this title.
