Actually nothing. I moved my equipment around, plugged it in and it was on a constant hum all of a sudden. Plus I could smell that distinct smell of burning PCB board.

I got my sub in a pawnshop with plastic still on it! It's not the best but good enough for me, and sure as hell beats my Aiwa HTIB sub.
