My PIII 550e has been cruising along happily at 733mhz since I got it 10 months ago. I knew my cheap generic PC133 ram was holding me back. This evening I popped in some nice PC133 cas2 Crucial ram. Increased the memory settings from medium to turbo, enabled cas2, and slowly increased the FSB. It got up to 149 before hicupping. I'll settle on 146, since 146*5.5 is about 800. I'm sure that I could disable cas2, or slow the settings back down, and shoot the processor above 800. But I like the settings maxed out
Don't remember exactly what Sandra reported my memory bandwidth as before. But now it is 310 CPU, and 348 FPU - very healthy.
