Goodbye for now ATOT

I'm headed home in about 3 hours to spend the weekend with my parents before I head off to basic. I signed up for the Army Reserves as a 91W, Health Care Specialist (what the Combat Medic transformed into), and I'm shipping out Wednesday. I'll be back in Ireland for a few days seeing some family I haven't seen in a while, and then I'm off for 23 weeks.
I haven't been here long, but this place has been a fun place to hang out at during classes or when I'm feeling up for an arguement. ATOT's been a fun place for the past few months, and hopefully I'll be back when my trainings over.

Slán go fóill ,

Aye, my grandfather was a fluent speaker/writer, so it was passed down through our family. My da taught me from the time I started school.

Damn man...I've been looking for someone that can teach me some basics. There aren't many people out there anymore that can speak and write it.

Good luck to you and if you can remember to PM when you get back, i'd like a few basic lessons. 😉

Good luck and not many gaelic speakers about!

I'll try my best, but if you see me posting again, it might be best to remind me. 😉

In retrospect, you'll probably think it was fun. I know I have of my military training experiences like that. 🙂 Remember that when you're there.
