I've been decrying it too. This is bad for freedom. I really despise how they try to sugarcoat it (faster boot time???) so that the average Joe will blindly accept it without suspecting what this is all really about (if they can virus scan prior to windows loading what's to keep them from scanning for other stuff?). :|Originally posted by: dmcowen674

This is the "Trusted Computing" platform I have been warning veryone in P&N about. They are pushing for this to be Law. Might as well put a Microsoft/Government employee in every home and business.
