Goodbye $675+....I hardly knew you

I don't know about you, but my city water bill covers all damages on all equipment from the city water distribution center up to and including the water gauge on the side of my house (basically everything on the outside of the house). I make one call to them, they come and fix it, no charge.

You may want to look into this, you may be able to have the plumber bill the city (or at least you pay him, then get reimbursed by the city)..

Materials were $140.

The rest of the pipe will not hold.

Rent a ditchwitch and run new line yourself.

Hard to believe the pipe replacement is no longer covered.

That's discrimination by time.

People that have the pipe longer are more susectiple of the defect.

Did you put a backflow preventer on the sprinkler line?

Lucky. Ours costed over a grand to fix.

Total cost with parts came out to be $821.

Not to mention that my wife's uncle is going to charge us ~$400 to replace the rest of the blue pipes outside.
