She kinda enjoys puzzle quest but its way to hard to keep the chars leveled together. Anything else two player that a non-gamer might enjoy?

Carcassonne is good, and you can play multiplayer on the same Xbox.
Wits and Wagers demo seemed pretty good (I bought the board game instead) and you can play multiplayer on the same Xbox.
I can't wait for Ticket to Ride to come out on XBLA, but I doubt it'll allow multiplayer on the same Xbox. I highly recommend the board game, although it's not as great with two players (the Switzerland expansion is the best version for two people)

Well that's awesome. Although I'm not sure how they're going to pull it off, because the game relies on hidden information. It would change the game entirely if everyone knew what cards you have. I guess we'll see when it comes out.

If you only knew how many board games I bought as a direct result of playing that one game...

Yeah, we played that some. She needs practice though, I won like 8 in a row to start.

Another vote for Carcassonne. There's a small learning curve at first, but the game's deep enough to keep you coming back to it.

<--Ranked in the top 150 in ranked matches in the world...slightly biased.

The game does get old pretty quickly if you don't play against other people (locally or online).

Yeah, Carcassonne is really good if you give it time and really learn how to play. I think most people don't give it the time to really learn how to play. It's a great two player board game because of the screwage factor.

I liked carcassonne too for a while, then I just got tired of it. Only so much of it that I can take. Heh.

Anyway, from the sounds of it, you guys are into two player puzzle games.
-If so, you could try Poker Smash, which is eerily reminiscent to Tetris attack on the SNES if you've ever played it.
-Of course, there's regular tetris, but that can be bland.
-Bomberman Live is a ton of fun if you're into bomberman and that type of thing.
-Lumines is great fun once you get the hang of it. It has a fairly steep learning curve for most it seems. But some good 2 player action can be found here.

Anyway, those are a couple more suggestions besides just carcassonne. If you are in fact into carcassonne, try settlers of catan also.

Catan can't be played with 2 players locally for obvious reasons. Kind of defeats the purpose if you need another 360 and have your wife in another room playing against you. :D

Heh, not a chance :) She didn't like the wii when she tried it. I personally, think that it's a piece of crap and has last-gen games with good marketing and low prices.
