Good workout for someone who travels

I leave monday nights and am usually not back home until thursday night. That means I usually have thursday, friday, saturday and sunday to work out. Sometimes where I stay during the week has a gym, but its usually pretty crappy (only a treadmill and bike). I would like to start lifting weights and getting into better shape, and suggestions on site to check out?
 
This is going to sound crazy I know, but you could always run and do crunches and pushups.... 😀 I know, where do I come up with this stuff?
