Good wireless router for streaming video?

I currently have a cheapo belkin wireless router that I got for $10. I am using a dsl connection that is connect by cat5 to one computer and wireless for the other. However when I watch streaming video it will pause for both the hardwired one and the wireless one while the videos will stream fine when connected straight to the modem. So I'm figuring the router isn't very good and that maybe I should get a new one

just get any linksys or d-line 802.11g wireless router. the reason why the videos may be pausing is because the video needs time to buffer, which is based on the bandwidth of your internet connection.

but the thing is I can watch them fine when I go straight to the modem, it's just when I add the router it starts stuttering
