Good wired mouse for smaller hands?

I started off with one of those cheapo $10 logitech mouses but my hands starting hurting so I got deathadder but turns out this is too big. Fanatastic mouse otherwise. Any suggestions what are some good smaller mice? Under $80 would be nice. thanks.

I've got small hands and I'm using the Logitech G9. It's been replaced by the G9x so you should be able to find it for less than $80.

Thanks. I ended up getting the G9x for 67 CAD after pm at best buy from dell.ca. The mouse had a somewhat awkward feel to it at first but it's get more comfortable and my pains are gone. Tracking and everything is great. But I'm very disappointed at the wheel and dpi buttons, especially for such an expensive mouse. I tend to accidentally click on the dpi buttons, but I just disabled it since I never use it anyway. The wheel click button does not press down easily and occasionally scrolls back up when i scroll down. But I mainly bought for comfort and it being wired, so I'm happy with it. Surprised they didn't fix these problems from the g9.

yeah, I agree the wheel button is a bit hard to press, thankfully I never get to use it often. which grip are you using, precision (the narrower and textured one) I suppose?

personally I have not had a pleasure of using another mouse with a better fit than the g9 🙂

The G9/G9x isn't really a small handed mouse. I know a lot of women like the notebook mice a lot better than the bigger sized ones.

you have a point. I find it very comfortable and have been a finger grip person all along, but that doesn't necessarily mean this particular model is also finger grip oriented. I would urge the op to try it at a local retailer though, as these should be widely available everywhere.

I've been really happy with this little Lenovo travel USB mouse that came with my work laptop. It's small but has a solid feel. Tracking is great and the mouse wheel is illuminated.

There are a lot of good reviews on that mouse in it's Bluetooth configuration as well.

I am debating that version. However at the $40 price point the Orochi is about the same to me and may be a better option for my needs.

Most comment that the Lenovo mice look bigger online than in person.

I ended up liking the wide grip. I'm a palmer. I couldn't stand the sand paper feel of the precision. I thought the wide grip would be, well, too wide but it's very comfortable. My pains are gone. Does the dpi buttons ever bother you?

It definitely seems like a smaller mouse to me unless they use a claw grip. Not sure how a person with big hands can fit the mouse. It's wide but fairly short in length. I think the main reason the deathadder wasn't comfortable was because it has a very high hump causing you to arch your hand.

Haven't really liked any laptop mouse so far, after a few hours it feels like i'm squeezing them. Maybe I needed to get use to it.

I'm only going to buy logitech mouse from now on. My dad's mouse is also a logitech and it's fairly comfortable, but it's like 6 years old.

not really, probably cuz I don't usually use it much in the middle of a gaming session. well I assumed you are not a palmer, judging by what op asked for heh
