Holy crap a movie screwed with math. I'm off to write an angry letter. Where's my stationary kit. I'm so outraged this requires pen and paper.

Heh, yep.

The (one of the?) math advisor for that movie was Prof. Daniel Kleitman... and if you've ever had him as a lecturer (i have), omg the messy, scattered look of all the shit they draw in that movie suddenly makes perfect sense.

Kleitman is a master of disorganization on the blackboard. He like writes over his previous stuff w/o erasing, lolz. I've also seen him fall asleep during his own lecture... like he's talking, and suddenly he's not. Pretty epic.

Its amazing how eccentric math geniuses are. My calc 2 teacher in high school was way above and beyond a normal math teacher and while he was fully functioning socially he was definitely off a bit.

I could maybe solve the problem by myself though, doesn't seem all that tough.
