Good wifi device for checking email/browsing on the go?

I'm looking for a wifi device that'll let me check my email while I'm on the go in the city.

I was thinking the PSP would work since it has a browser and a nice big screen, but then I thought there must be much better dedicated devices out there.

What do you guys use?

htc mogul.. buts it a cell phone. its got wifi built in.... though.. i dont own the phone yet but ive read its good...


maybe you can go with the nintendo ds with the new browser program it just released or some form of PDA.

Get a Nokia 770 from buy.com

For $130 ish it has the best browsing you will find at that price.
Much much much better than the PSP. *built in wifi B/G and bluetooth *touch screen *Opera browser

mmm I'm still thinking about a Pocket PC like an iPaq so I could get Skype.

i would second a good phone choice like the nokia 770, but having skpe on a pocket pc would be nice too. phone is safer though, you get 911 service for just having the phone, but its also bad if your a drug dealer since all phones are gps tracked.

i heard very good things about the newer nokia 800 too.

The N800 might be worth a look, too. Much better than the N770.

Mmm, and the N800 is supposed to get skype soon, according to the blogs.

The n800 is better in a lot of ways, but it's currently double the price as well. I have the n770 and it's just fine for browsing the web and checking e-mail. Just don't expect anything fancy like watching flash videos on it. For $130 you can't go wrong. There is also a RDP client available for it so you can connect to your computer if you want (VNC also available).

I bought this the n770 today and it should arrive tomorrow from buy.com. I am also getting canola media player thingy to stream music and video to my device when im at home this is going to be soo cool! I would recommend the n770 but I have not used it yet!
