Good wifi adaptor for desktop

Hey simple questions here.

my GF and I just moved in together. I have been clearing up some of the clutter around my office / computer area. I wanted to switch my desktop PC to run via wifi.

Can any one recommend a good wifi adapter for a desktop? It can be USB or PCI I have some free PCI slots.

(makes me wish i had gotten the ASUS mobo with build in wifi now)
