Can anyone recommend some good websites for learning C# and programming on the .NET platform? I'd rather not spend money on a book, since I'm already an experienced programmer.

Check out the official MS training site some time. They always have free specials going. Also if you do not have Visual Studio 2003/2005 MS has a free version that can be downloaded.

Welcome to .NET. It really does provide some neat stuff out there. I don't care if MS made. The way it is constructed let's you spend alot more time on architecting a solution and alot less on twiddling the bits.

hi you can also try http://codingresolved.com/
