Local papers. Not necessarily mainstream ones, but if you were here in Chicago I'd say The Red Eye, The Reader, and The Onion.

Try the housing department at some local universities. When i was in grad school people could post rooms for rent and filter who could look at it. Eg, grad only or whatever.
