Good website to buy sell stocks?

i used to use scottrade, no complaints. now i mostly use sharebuilder. with the costco rebate trades are now 6.95, and if you are willing to buy on the first tues of the month you can get it for 2. plus its nicely connected to my ing accounts.

I have a Fidelity brokerage account, just because I have several other accounts with them, including my current 401k.

What made you switch from scottrade to sharebuilder?

integration with my ing savings/checking accounts and the cheaper automated trades. im not investing that much, so the lower I can get the commission the better. the automated trades used to be $4, now they are $2.

eTrade obviously

eTrade has a nice, simple interface and some good trading tools, as well as iOS and Android apps (all free). I use them daily.

I have asked them to develop an app for the BB PlayBook, they told me if and when BB ever comes out with QNX on phones, they'll develop an app for it. 🙁 Although the PlayBook does a good job with the basic website, it's just that you're pinching and zooming a lot to navigate the damn thing.

I been using scottrade because they have an office like couple of blocks from where I work. It is nice to go in and get help in person.

How much do you have to buy in? Most serious shit is at least $10k. Those are what I go with.

I'd like to buy into some $50k funds or better soon.

I use scottrade. If you want PM me your email address and I'll send you an invite that will get you 3 free trades once you fund your account.

i went from sharebuilder (outrageous commission charges) to scottrade (easy to use, less restrictions on OTC, good customer service)

I am looking at a stock that is 61 cents a share; hoping to buy around 300 - 400 shares total.

The stock thing is more or less something to play with. I only plan on investing $100 here and there.

And I hope you realize you are just speculating on that stock, not investing.

Speculating that the stock goes up? Yes, I know. I am hoping to sell the stock sometime in 2013 when their next big product hits the streets.

For long term I am looking at ford, exxon, microsoft,,,,.
