Since I've been doing some temp work lately, I've had to leave the house about 10:30. Normally, I try to feed my cats at 6, 12, 6, and 12AM during the day. Normally, both my cats will scarf down food if I feed them early for whatever reason. However, for some reason, one of them will not only refuse to come to the kitchen and eat, the other one will eat from her bowl first, then his own. Normally, they each stick to eating from their own bowl. It's almost like she's scared to go into the kitchen. She's willing to eat, if I bring her bowl out of the kitchen, but the other cat will then go over and eat her food.
Anyway, I'm just curious to figure out what's going on there in terms of their abnormal behaviors. This only happens if I'm getting ready to leave the house at 10:30 in the morning. I don't expect an answer specific to this situation, I'm just interested in any cat behavior web sites that might give me an insight as to why they both act wierd in this respect.
