There was this one website i used to visit to get good, cheap ink for my printer... an Epson Stylus R200

It would cost like $20 for all 6 cartridges..

but now i can't remember the site name..

can anyone recommend a good site for printer ink?

Thanks!

I'm curious, rocadelpunk, do you actually use this site, or did you just google for "cheap printer ink" and post the first result? Please tell me. I must know this.

They frequently advertise on AT, check out the hotdeals forums, they'll usually have a coupon code up for 25-35% off.

I found it at first googling a couple years ago. Ordered from them several times and have had no problems. Finally realized a year or two ago there was a constant locked thread in hot deals that had 20% off if you put atot in checkout...seems like that sticky is finally gone though.

I bought a couple of color cartridges from them late last year, for my HP photo printer. I was very disappointed - the quality was visibly worse than the HP cartridges, and I didn't get nearly as many pages from their cartridges.

YMMV.

Need some for my canon iP4500.
I used swiftink few years ago on another printer and I remember they didn't last as long as the manufacturer ones.

Not sure who I'll get these from.

Instead of buying more cartridges consider an alternative ... a CISS.

Continuos Ink Supply System

I just installed one in my HP and it seems to work fine. It would have cost me between $45 and $65 plus tax to replace all 6 cartridges in my printer but for $40 off of Ebay (shipped) I got the equivalent of about 10 sets of cartridges (ink wise).

It's an interesting concept ... I hope it works out.

I've had terrible experience with "aftermarket ink cartridges" that leaked and ruined 2 Epson printers. Not to comfortable with the "compatible" products. I ONLY buy genuine Canon for my ink jet...but, it's one of the Pixma units that has "chipped" cartridges and so far, the compatible cartridges seem to be hit or miss for those. MOST don't work regardless of the "re-chipping" instructions.

I DO need a good quality toner cartridge for my Canon laser printer. I'm tired of paying $80-$90 for those, BUT, because of my bad experience with compatible ink jets, I'm leery of buying the toner carts...anyone have a GOOD toner cartridge seller? (I really don't want to fuck up this printer.)

I use swiftink as well, no problems here. Occasionally my printer starts b!tching and won't recognize a cartridge, but a power-off and disconnect for a couple of minutes bring it back to its senses.
