Good Webcam?

I am looking for a webcam that provides smooth video w/o any kind of lag. I do not know if its worth paying extra money going for something around 70-80 bucks instead of something thats around $30 (does the quality really change)? Does any of you have recommendations abt what to buy. I have a digital camera so I do not need a camera functionality. I want to use the webcam for netmeeting and its totally pointless if the actions can be seen with a 2 second lag. I think my machine has 1.1 USB ports. But still recommendations of all kinds (2.0 USB, 1.1 USB, Fireware) is ok. Also can some1 point to the features one should look when buying a webcam. How do frames per second and pixels etc matter?

i have a kodak dv325 i got from FS/FT for $30 shipped. i think its pretty good.
