I am currently looking for a web hosting service provider for a simple webpage that I'm going to put up. There are so many frauds around, I would like to hear from those of you that have had favorable experiences with web hosts. If possible provide me with a link to their website. since apparently it's a simple web site (as you say), it'll be better if you host it yourself.

that's only if you have a server running 24 hours a day on a cable/dsl or faster connection.

Check out FutureQuest I've used them in the past and currently for some stuff, top notch support and really a great bunch of people, can't recommend them enough.
