Hey guys,

I am looking for a good web hosting company that is reliable and has a proven track record of being good.
Do you know of any that might fit that description?

You can get a lot for $50.

But the question is, what do you need? What sort of monthly transfer will it do etc.

I need something with alot of file storage and alot of file transfer. The more file storage and file transfer I can get the better. I am trying to shop around but I don't know which ones are reliable and give me the best bang for my buck. Thats why I come to my knowledgable friends here at ATOT :)

Idologic is a good choice, cheaper than the others

What do you plan to use it for to start with?

You can always start out with a small account on Idologic or something and move up to a larger account once you're ready

Also, UU was mentioned earlier and because I had problems with them along with others, I left them. I'd reccomend avoiding it

How much is "a lot?"

About a year ago when I "came back" into web hosting, my "a lot" was very low to what was being offered at the time

I don't think you've answered the question so we can help you better.. what is your site and what does it need? heavy file transfers (100's of GB's a month?), huge forums, database needs, etc, etc...

I signed up for hostpc.com based on recommendations here.

Do a search in the forums for webhosting and you should find some useful information.
