Good ways to keep your breath fresh?

Ive been noticing that after awhile from brushing my teeth (a couple hours or so), my breath starts to get kind of sour-ish. Do u guys have any techniques to keep your breath fresh longer besides the usual stick of gum, mints, and breath spray?

do you floss?

brush your tongue. I've noticed it helps a bit. Also, try breathing through your mouth and keeping it open. Drink lots of water.

Asked dentist last time. He said:

Brush tongue + floss + use listerine daily (not stuff w/o alcohol) = works

Said the stuff w/o alcohol doesn't kill the bacteria so smell comes back quickly.

I've read articles saying that the alcohol affect on the bacteria doesn't last long and that alcohol tends to cause dry mouth, which helps bacteria return faster.

I use a light mixture of listerine, hydrogen peroxide, and water to dillute. It seems to work the best for me.
