Good video card to go with a 3000+?

I'm wondering what a good card to go with my 3000+. I was thinking a 7900GS, but I'm not sure if that will bottleneck it. I'm not going to bother with any CPU upgrades, because my system is s754. And I'm not going to build a new rig, because I'm going to be going away for a year starting next September. So I'm really just looking for a video card that will work well with my current processor. Any and all help is appreciated.

This s754 has PCI-E right? Otherwise 7800GS is the best you can get I think for AGP. If it does have PCI-E 7900GS would probably be your best bet. O/c the 3000+ some if you can(most hit 2.4ghz with ease and stock cooler).

You have at least 1gb memory right?

I do have PCI-E, yes. The mobo I have dosen't really support any overclocking unfortunately. And I'm also going to buy some more memory to have 1.5 GB total (There are only 2 slots and no dual channel support).

A 7900GS would be a perfect choice. It will be slightly hindered by your 1.8 Ghz, 512KB cache cpu, but not much. Plus, they're selling them cheap right now, and it ought to still have pretty decent resale value.
