Good video card for under $200 CDN

Hey everyone

I'm looking for a good quality video card for under $200 CDN. My 9500 Pro died today and I'm really pissed off!! I can't afford to wait for RMA, so I need something now. I know I'm not going to get any 9800 Pro-like cards, but something nice. I only have $200 to spend, so keep that in mind... lol

Here are some I thought of.

- GF FX5200
- Radeon 9000 Pro (128 MB)
- Radeon 9500 (non-pro)
- Radeon 9600 (non-pro)

I do want to play games, and I'd love to be able to handle HalfLife 2 decently, if not well. I plan to get the 9800XT when I get my A64 FX system, but I just need something to hold me over until then.

Any thoughts/comments or other good card suggestions would be appreciated!

None of those cards perform too well, and will all choke in HL2. The GF FX5200 especially is particularly weak, and all of the non-pros are lackluster performing cards. The only exception is the 9500 non-pro *if* you can software mod it to a 9700 Pro (which is very iffy.. Total sucess rate is low).

Even a GeForce 4 card would be better than all of those cards in everything.
