Good video card for Dell 3007 or two Dell 2407's?

The specs for the Dell 3007 says its port is "DVI-D (dual link) with HDCP". Can you suggest any video cards that would support this monitor at its full resolution (2560x1600)? The application would be primarily to display high-resolution photographs, not to play video games.

An alternative would be to purchase two Dell 2407's. Same question: Can you recommend some good video cards that can drive two 2407's at their full resolution (1920x1200)?

Two 7900 GT's should do the trick.

Otherwise try a X1900 XTX or 7900 GTX.
But even these can faulter keeping high frame rates at that res with some games.

Thanks for the reply, but these are high-end gaming cards. If they are the only cards that will support such high resolutions, I suppose that's the route I'll need to go, but I have to believe there are many, many other users out there who need a video card that will support high resolutions but don't need ultra-high-end 3D-rendering power.

Apologies, I though you meant you needed to run games at those resolutions.
But if it's just to be able to run at native res with desktop etc, then most cards will do.
As mentioned above, an X1600 should do just fine.

But for gaming at 1920 x 1200, it's a whole different matter.

actually no... Most cards WON'T do. they need to have a dual link DVI port which only the high end NV cards and ATI's have along with the 1600XT.

You need DUAL-LINK DVI. Dual DVI != DUAL-LINK DVI.

The x1600pro should be good for the 3007fpw. It won't work for 2 2405's though (unless you want reduced image quality from the analog) because it only has one dvi port. For 2405's I'd go for the cheapest card you can find with two dvi ports.
