Will the best video card out there for $100 (any recommendations?) outperform my nVidia geforce 3? Thanks!

u should be able to stretch to a 9600pro...not sure what they sell for over your side of the pond...but over here in the uk the non pro is under 100 quid and the 9600pro is a mere 110pounds! the xt also looks sweet at 117pounds also!!

these are connect 3d cards....no frills just the card, few cables and drivers

It?s better to get the 128MB Sapphire 9600, they come with 4ns ram, the 256MB models come with 5ns that barely runs anything past 200MHz.

The 9600?s overclock quite nicely too ? AkumaX got his 9600 up to ? 455/255 DDR...(from stock 325/200).

I got a refurbished FX5600 for 72$ which I felt was the best available for $ less than 75.
