It's 5:30!

Fettucini with chicken and broccoli sounds good. Or try a nice rib roast.

well what ethnicity are you going for?

i'd suggest cheese enchiladas if you want mexican, potato and spinach curry if you want indian, some stir-fried chinese vegetables if you want chinese....

easiest would probably be pasta with a chunky tomato and mushroom (and/or peppers, onion, whatever) sauce.

what type are you looking for ideas?

hmmm...nothing particularly ethnich...

something fresh/brightly flavored...

I was thinking of getting some bell peppers, olives, artichoke hearts, spinach, almonds, onion, cranberries, and peaches then seeing what happens...

but what would happen!?

maybe mix it together w/rice?

I used to respect you, Astaroth33. But now that I've just seen you specify a steak be cooked medium well, that respect has plummeted.

When I stick my fork into a steak, I expect to see a spray of arterial blood hit the ceiling. If not, it has been overcooked.

If cheese isn't, what can they eat? Rocks? Because everything else is just killing plants.

It's lacto-vegetarian

Pasta primavera, green salad with vinaigrette, garlic bread. Steamed veggies and soup optional.

I've never seen any group of people so hostile toward vegetarians than this forum. Anandtechers take it as a personal attack against themselves when other people are vegetarians!

Edit: Vegetarians do eat cheese, and some eat fish . It's vegans who don't eat any animal products. But one vegan girl I met wears leather because "it's not eating the animal".
