Good v Bad memory controller on s754 CPU's

I have 3400+ Clawhammer 1mb cache v2.4 and I am wondering, do I have the good memory controller or the bad memory controller. Right now I am running 2x512mb sticks of dual channel (although the CPU doesn't make use of it) ram fine. I heard only v2.6 and later on my chip have the good controller, but I seem to be running the ram fine, although Memtest86 gives me some errors, however my system is completely stable. The reason I ask is because I was going to get this and I want to know if my chip will make good use of it.

First of all, the 3400+ Claw is 2.2 ghz, the Newcaste is 2.4.

The memtest errors arnt from your memory controller but from your memory.

I assume that 200 mhz oc you have going is forcing those errors.

In that case, bring your fsb back down to 200 and run a divider.

That wat your memory wont limit your overclock.

Dont bother spending money on that memory.

3400+ Claw is faster than a s939 3500+, just because the 3400+ is a year old doesnt mean its outdated.

EDIT: I would set your mem voltage to 2.7V, thats what I run.
