Good usenet providers

Newsfeeds.com is good. $14/mon if you pay for a year or $20 I think by the month. 12 Servers with about 750/meg a day limit. I've never had the limit come in play, even after grabbing 6-10 discs worth of movies and concerts. NewsPro is a great reader for newsfeeds. You def. need a reader that can manage all the servers for you. NewsPro is awesome and newsfeeds support keyword searches so you don't have to grab all the headers.
 
Easynews. 25+ day retention, 99% completion, and free gigs for crunching UD work units... Speed is also not a problem... That's an old pic, I get a consistent 3-4MB/sec from their servers now. 😀

If you're a heavy downloader, you might give Astraweb a shot... unlimited D/L for $15/mo isn't bad. I signed up for their trial account, and it was decent. They had fewer groups than EN, and their retention was only 2-3 days though.
