Do you think the EVGA Geforce 8800 GTX video cards or even the highest overclocked EVGA Geforce 8800 Ultra video if its really worth it for the extra fps in Crysis, when running game sin DX10 and all the other latest games will get cheaper once the new high end nvidia refresh video card comes out? How much cheaper are we looking at ? I am thinking of upgrading from my Geforce 8800 GTS 320 to a Geforce 8800 GTX or Ultra super overclocked, the reason for the Ultra super overclock if its a good enough price and worth it is because I can get every last drop of performance possible for Crysis 1600x1200, All very high 4x AA and 16x AF or at least all high 4x AA and 16x AF though I would rather all very high. I won't be raising the resolution any higher. If a Geforce 8800 GTX even overclocked would do this I would get a GTX instead but I feel that it may not have enough by just a few fps. 10 fps vs 15 fps makes a huge difference. 30 vs 35 fps no such much. The lower fps you go the bigger the difference a small amount makes. I want to be able to play all my games at 1600x1200 resolution maximum with 4x AA and 16x AF with all details on high but not have to pay a arm and a leg for it. Even the game DIRT. Would this be a good upgrade plan ? I could get the Geforce 8800 GTX or super overclocked Geforce 8800 Ultra after the new refresh nvidia high end video card comes out so I can wait for prices to drop if they do. Then after getting it I may have enough time to step up to the real high end nvidia card that comes out a few months later maybe.
