Good universal remote for DVD/VHS combo unit?

I just got a combo DVD/VHS player donated to me which I want to use for video capture on my computer. Unfortunately it doesn't have a remote and the front panel controls aren't very good (just play/pause/stop). The model is a Sanyo DVW-6100 DVD Player & Video Cassette Recorder. I have it mounted under my monitor at the moment, but it's kind of clunky without fast foward/rewind/etc. Will any old combo/universal remote do?

Finally found one at Walmart that had seperate VHS/DVD functions. I got it home only to discover that it had been previously opened (big cut along the side where someone had opened it with an Exacto knife or something) and that clear tape was covering the length-long cut. Bummer, hope it works. Yay for Warmart
