Good TV for the 360?

I am soon going to pick up an Xbox 360 and I am thinking my Samsung tube tv might not allow the eye candy to its full potential. Can anyone recommend a tv whether its tube or lcd that will let the xbox 360 shine without spending a few thousand dollars? Thanks.
