good tutorial site for flash 8 ?

I usually code in html/php or the such, but I decided I want to create a fully functional flash website. I have a banner and clickable images I created in photoshop I want to put together and make a full functional flash website!

Is this practical for users to view? I have not heard of many people having troubles viewing flash websites, but do older machines still have trouble with flash?

My main question is how do I start this project? If someone has some good tutorial sites let me know! thanks.

as well, what are good site parems to use 800x600 or 1280x800 ?

I found a GREAT website :

I created my first flash site ... what do you all think , for my very firs time :

one thing I cannot seem to get working is the dang scrolly! it does not want to scroll.

is it possible to create a FORM in flash and when the user clicks submit all of that info goes to an email address ? or if it is easier, create a form in html and somehow incorporate it into the flash ?

Flash has it's positives:

pretty much every browser has the plugin, and if not it's tiny.
page will look uniform regardless of browser, unless somebody does something cooky and make an entire site of PDF's this is near impossible to do in HTML/DHTML/CSS
can do much more than HTML

negatives:

too easy to use Flash poorly, I've been tinkering with it since like version 3, I have my moments but using Flash properly isn't easy.

I looked at your site and I honestly don't see anything you couldn't do with CSS, but if you are set on Flash, spice it up a bit and get the basics down really well. Flahsh is incredibly powerful when implemented well.

yeah, this is the beginning for me. I am happy with that lil guy, I plan on making the banner/buttons do some tiny actions and a few other little things...but nothing too much right now.
