Good traps for a yard..against people?

The standard stuff that goes on for homecoming at my school is TPing other people's houses, and some paintball fights (which is going to end up very badly soon enough..people do it from cars, against other cars).

Anyhoo, we have an orchard at my house with tons of delicious apples, and I need to think of a way to protect it. My driveway is 1/4 mile long or so, but I can't do anything to it because we have someone that rents a house from us up here, and I don't want to hurt anyone's cars anyways.

I just need some things I can set up in my yard that will trip, spray paint on them, whatever..I don't want to hurt anyone, just scare em off. Any ideas?

easy way to get sued dude. I'd suggest sitting on your pirch with a six pack and a shotgun... two blanks and the rest slugs. It's much safer liability wise...

They can sue you if they get hurt in the process regardless of any traps. However getting a beware of dog sign and a couple of big dogs will be fine.

put a few gallons of paint into buckets.

let the outside harden.

lay down around trees.

when ppl walk over them they "explode" or rather ooze out onto their shoes COMPLETELY fuxoring them up.

or just get some concussion grenades and use at will

Heh, jail isn't going to happen. Law enforcement goes really easy during homecoming..we even had a guy hogtie 2 kids a few years ago and keep a shotgun to them. Nothing happened to him.

Like I said, I don't want to hurt anyone.

Heh, I was just hit. Worst TP job ever though..like 3 strands hanging down. I didn't even bother to go out their with my airsoft gun.

Oh, and a sprinkler wont work, they'll just kink the hose.

Let's start with minor traps - I'd suggest paint mines and tripwire first, followed by motion-detecting floodlights with their circuits hooked up to sprinklers. :D

I'd say go the other way....place signs that say stuff like, tie up your friend on my tree, crap on my lawn, run naked through my sprinklers and also have a larger sign that says area is under video surveillance. then i'd get motion sensing flood lights and/or a few r/f cameras or webcams. If they mess with your yard, ID the culprits and mail the video to their parents, church members, sell it to the local news media if it's any good, or just put it on atot so we have anther source of amusement

Actually, its recommended you not get the dog signs anymore. It kinda shows that you know the dogs are dangerous and its a whole lot of legal mumbo jumbo.
