Good tower case from newegg?

I'm buying a proc and mobo from newegg and I'm looking for a good cheap(ish) tower case to build my new pc in. I sort of used up all the extra cash I had with the components, so now I need a good easy to use full tower case that comes with a good cooling system and a power supply that can handle my p4 3.0GHz 800fsb 512k proc... The reason me not wanting me to shop anywhere else is they offer free shipping and I'd like to order this all at once off one site.

All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Antec's SLK3700AMB comes to mind. 120mm exhaust fan, room for a 120mm intake fan, room for lots of hard drives, and it has an Antec 350W SmartPower PSU. Looks like it's $79 shipped.

Downsides: you'll have a door over your drives, and beige drives might clash a bit (consider black ones). I haven't worked with one in person but I think they're built a little lighter than the Plus-series like the Plus660AMG.

Great! If anyone else has any suggestions, I'm eager to hear them. If not I'll end up getting this very temping case.

I've got an SLK2600 (hey it was the cheapest Antec I could find) which I believe is just the SLK3700 with a crappier PSU and no fans. I can say I've been extremely impressed with the build quality (which is to be expected with Antec) and just the general great design. The only design flaw I've found, is that to remove your power supply, if you have a large heatsink, you have to remove your RAM, your CD-RW drive, and your HSF. Other than that, this case has been a dream to work with.

Heya Paruh 😛
This is Hikeon3.

Depending upon what size case you're aiming for, there are a lot of great choices for you out there. I'd recommend buying cases locally rather than from newegg though, because Antec cases are the preferred end-user cases and on newegg each one has a hefty S&H fee. Locally here at Fry's, you can pick up an SLK2600 with Antec PSU for 59.99 and a Performance II Workstation Tower with Antec PSU for 89.99.

I bought the Perf II, very very nice case. On Newegg it is 82.99, but with a jumpy 18 dollar shipping charge. And since you'll be paying tax on it anyways, Fry's will do you well for your case.

Evercase E4252 is always an option for cheapish, but I'm going to second MechBgon. Sweet case, easily made quiet, and should fit any cooling needs you'll have.

I wouldn't skimp out on the case to go with that MB. You'll be wanting a good cooling solution with the Sprindales/Canterwoods. They have a lot of power to pull heat from the CPU and Northbridge, and it takes a bit more effort to do something with that. I'd be worried running an o/c'd P4C with a high performance card, but I suppose 16A would be adequate. The minimum figure I've heard is 15, and I've run 3.2 with a 9700Pro at 17A.

Get a case without a door. Or if you get a case with one take it off. Its cool at first but gets annoying quick. Its very easy to paint your drive faces to match your case.
