Good tool to bit-by-bit clone HDDs?

Hi, I need to clone a 10GB to a new 80GB drive. With full partitions on both.

Is there a free utility (or maybe something Linux can do?) that can copy bit-by-bit all of the data on the drive, minus partition informatiON

use a linux live cd. It should work and it's free 🙂

ubuntu live CD has ntfs support.

I don't think you need ntfs support to use dd

Okay, I tried what the DD command but it said that access is denied. I tried clicking Enable next to "Inaccessible" but nothing happened. Do I need to change the NTFS permissions?
