it went down on earnings yesterday (~6 %) but the earnings looked pretty good/decent. Was it an over reaction?

Don't try to time the market. Buy good, solid companies and hold out for the long term.

I'd get some AMD stock...looks like with these lawsuits their OEM sales will go up a lot

BTW i am ver happy with my NVDA stock bought last fall....goes up about a dollar everyday now :)

Non-Fanboy Info:

Intel is having a hard time with capacity. In other words, they're having a hard time meeting demand. We've been experiencing this especially with their chipsets. That's the short answer of why it went down.

Even though there are multiple lawsuits against them, and I personally do not care for them too much, they are still possibly worth investing in. They are a rather "stable" company (especially compared to other IT companies) If you are looking to make a quick buck, go elsewhere, if you want to hopefully accumulate growth over the long term, I think Intel will offer some decent returns, however, I don't think it will beat the market, or do anything amazing.
