Good time to buy dual layer?

with all the standars still not confirmed is it safe to buy one of these drives, i saw already down to about 80 bucks.

im thinking my apex should have no probs playing anything..

As cheap as they are, why not? I'm going to buy one myself this week. It's the media that's really "expensive", although that's coming down in price as well.
