Why do so many people want you to watch TV with them, anyway? I admit I'm biased--sitting through ten minutes of prime-time TV fills my head with whistful thoughts like, "sigh, I could be working right now..."--but I don't understand the attraction, especially if they also don't want you to distract them from it.

you are king of your house or apartment..

The most important fact of all.

All women are controlling. Period. Some are more outright than others, but after you move in together, give it a few months.

It starts innocently enough:

Honey...instead of watching ESPN, why don't you come in here and do me....

Whos' going to argue w/that logic, right? :D

But then, you get:

Didn't you just watch that Discovery episode last week or something? I thought we were going to go check out the new Wicker by WallaWisha gallery that just opened?

Eventually degrading to:

Dammit, Mike...when you come home from work all you do is play on that stupid computer or watch movies! When do we get to do what I want to do?!!!
]

Never, bitch. That's why I live alone.:cool:

I have GFs. I get some at least once/twice a month. I'm happy.

Your post was funny until the bolded part. I'd rather get some 20-25 times a month (hell more is good too) :)

I'm glad I have a girlfriend... wasn't like I was getting anything from being single before....

I think it's nice to be able to have someone to hold on to a cherish... most of you others are probably thinking "jee, he just needs to tap taht sh!t and move on" but I'm happy.

Ability persue a career unhindered.

I wouldn't be where I'm at in my life if it weren't for my wife, she was my motivation to get a good paying job and work hard at it to get ahead.

But, at the same time, we've reached a point where she is comfortable where we're at and the only option I have of advancing my career is to take us out of the comfort zone, and move us elsewhere with a high degree of risk.

The two greatest things about being single were not having anyone in my home bothering me all the time and chasing women.

The two greatest things about being married is having someone in my home bothering me all the time and not having to chase women.

Go figure. :p

Woa dxkj went on some sort of offensive against single people. Maybe he is trying to drag us down.

Top 12 things:
1: Surfing for porn isn't just normal, it's expected.
2: You don't have to hide the porn on your computer, it's only you using it. You can even leave the stuff involving midgets and donkeys as shortcuts in the start menu.
3: Walking around the house naked.
4: Hungry at 4:30? Just have an early meal, noone's going to be left out.
5: Cruising for chicks is always okay.
6: You eat what you want. Don't like salad? That's okay. You save money!
7: Noone gets made when you oogle.
8: There's nothing in the bathroom that makes you ask the question "WTF?"
9: Home improvement shows are optional.
10: You have a 42" TV, Athlon FX53 computer, all three consoles, and are sleeping on a cot? I don't see what the problem is here.
11: Guys want to stay up until 2AM? As long as the neighbors aren't called, it's okay.
12: The ability to go an entire day without hearing the word "cute".

Oh man, me too. Its not that big of a deal but it is annoying. Come sit with me! And what? Stare into space? I would if we watched something besides Queer Eye for the Straight Guy or any generic remodeling show on TLC. She refuses to watch shows about WWII on the history channel with me, so why does she expect me to watch that trash. Occasionally we'll watch Star Trek together or CSI...but I don't even really like TV anyway.

This is why gay dudes have it so good. They can have sex with other men and there is no attachment.

Just raw gay sex...
