What are good temps for an AMD just running at room temperature? Does the thermal compound that comes on the retail heat sink work well or as well as compound I can buy?
 
I would say 45C would be reasonable for room temperature on a stock AMD CPU...I wouldn't use the crap compound that comes with the CPU when Arctic Silver 5 is so cheap and so much better...
