Good Summer Job?

Only for weekends? Fast food.... cashier at grocery store... possibly a store in a mall.. although they'll probably want more than just weekends...

Your options are limited..

odd...you'd think retail would have some kids that would say "hey I want off on weekends!" and you could take their place

I was told that since i could not be there during the week and specially when things get restocked and moved, i would have to play catch up on weekends and that was not good for them.

caddying is an awesome summer job

I worked at a country club for 5 years, i know how that is already.
Senior Caddy's get most of the jobs first and they also only limit the amount of caddy's to keep around.

hmm i am also looking for a summer job and there is a golf course near by. Maybe i should go check them out. How much do you get paid

It is usually between 40-60 dollars per bag and hopefully a tip.

depends on the place, I worked in a private country club and from what i know, they would take an amount of people for the summer, you probably have to talk to the golf pro.

Catering. No training, no experience neccessary and they usually pay real nice. My catering company pays $15 an hour in Sonoma County (California).

I've been working at one for about 2 years now and I got to say I enjoy it. I am no longer a server of corse, I help run the place.

But if you want something easy that will allow you to work weekends, I would say cater!
