What are some good speakers that are pretty good for the money (like how the 7900GT is godo for the money)? I don't wanna go overkill by getting the Z-5500 (its like ~$200!) but also, I don't even know if the Z-5500 is even worth it. Suggestions please?
 
Well, I'm a gamer. I have some already have the Logitech Extreme PC Gaming Headset and I have this Y-cable that I can use to hook up my speakers and my headset to so I can hear sounds from both my headset and speaker.
 
yea Z5500 is a really good bang for your buck option. Unless you dont care for the 3 extra speakers you can go with a 2.1 setup by logitech Z2300 or Klipsch promedia 2.1.
 
The z5500s are not even close to being overkill. If you want music, go for the Klipsch promedia 2.1

If you want gaming, get the z5500s.

If you don't care for good sounding speakers and just care for gaming, get any 2.1 setup and invest in better headphones.
