Where can I get a fast free virtually spam free e-mail address.

The non-hotmail one I have setup for AT is slow as heck!!!

my hotmail address get about 100+ a day spam messages even with filters up. :(

Whats a good free e-mail server, it's going to suck changing everything over but, it is probably for the best.

I am tired of getting all that spam!!!

ok, you guys may laugh but my mum has a hotmail account and gets maybe MAXIMUM 1 spam mail per day. Not even. I think if you don't pass the address, ya won't get too much spam, really.

I only got my hotmail account to use the passport and I must get 30 pieces of spam a day.

I use softhome.net, because it has pop and smtp access(you can use it through Outlook, Netscape, Pine, Eudora, etc.) and I get like one piece of spam a month.

It all depends on how you use your e-mail... If you give it out to anyone (like post it on ICQ) or use it to sign up for free stuff on the net you will get a lot of spam mails, no matter which provider you use...

I have a main Yahoo account, and 1 hotmail account just to sign up for stuff... I get around 30 spam mails everyday (after filtering) on my hotmail account, and maybe 2-3 every week on my yahoo one...

I opened up a new hotmail address 2 or 3 months ago, and it's gotten about 5 spam messages so far...TOTAL.

THREE were from MSN/Hotmail. I promptly forwarded these to abuse@hotmail.com, and they claim the messages' "From" were spoofed and that hotmail never sends spam. Odd, since:

1. They were trying to get me to upgrade my hotmail account or get MSN broadband.
2. They had almost NO header information other than "from" hotmail. I have "advanced headers" turned on, and no other messages look like this.

The only place I've given this email address to is...Microsoft (I bought XP from the Hot Deals forum).

With yahoomail, you only have like a max of 100 addresses you can put in your block list. But several come from the same domain w/ different names. But you can only block email addresses. There needs to be a way to just (quickly) add a domain to the block list and not only email addresses. I realize you can add filters but it's more time consuming.

Still, my yahoo address does get quite a bit of spam, but less than hotmail.

yup, same here..I love my yahoo email account..

hotmail should be renamed spammail. I do not even read anything from hotmail anymore...automatically delete it.
