So here's my history with them.
First one was a Sony Minidisk player which I LOVED because of the cool minidisks. I thought it sounded great when I first got it.
Then I got a PC, and onboard realtek 5.1. That sounded a Little bit better with CDs but Mp3 Sounded about the same
Then I finally broke to peer pressure in Highschool and got an ipod. Worst purchase in my life, MP3 sounded terribly muddled even compared to onboard.
Then came Audigy 2 ZS. I was blown away by the clarity and separation of each sound channels.
Then in College I broke to peer pressure again and got an Iphone, AGAIN i'm plagued by muddled mp3s and high noise floor, all 320kbps listened through sennh cx300s.
Here I sit on a Xfi Xtreme Music, which I just modded last night with National Oamps. I finally have clarity greater than my original Audigy 2 ZS sound card.
NOW I want to know if there is an MP3 Player out there that is at least sound card quality.
Thx
