Good soundcards that have an aux input (the little 4 pin connector on the card itself) ?

I've got a MyHD 130 TV tuner card that outputs audio via a 4pin cable. My M-Audio Revolution 7.1 channel card does not have a pin header to accept this input. What new card should I buy?

Wow YOyo... you disappoint me. I knew exactly what he meant. :p

So the MA-Audio doesn't have that...

Weird. Oh well, the 4 pins are +/- for left and right channels, so you could theoretically just make your own cable by stripping one end of it and adding a 3.5mm stereo plug, then putting it into the line-in of your card.

Ribbon,

I prefer to use the 4 pin to 4 pin connector =) What's the best audio card under $100 that accepts this input? Audigy 2?

 I thought he meant a quad pole 1/8" type connection (I don't even know what the name is).

Chaintech AV-710 has it if you're mainly into music.

If you're a gamer, yeah an A2 would be a good bet.

I mean I don't know if "quad pole" is the right term.

1 - mono
2 - stereo
3 - tri-pole?
4 - quad-pole?

I didn't pick the custom title.

lol, technically the stereo phone plug IS tri-pole, because you have left, right, and ground. I've never seen a phone plug with more than stereo.

Did you know 1/4" / 6.35mm phone plugs is the oldest electronic interface standard still in use today? Dates from 1878, for use in manual telephone exchanges.

No I didn't.

I think you need "quadpole" or something like that to get some audigy cards to output more than 5.1
I've never had an Audigy to investigate though.

My gf's parents used to work at the telephone company though and they have two old switchboards at their house as furnature.

I actually managed to find a picture with one in the background :)
